Hansel and Gretel

Hansel and Gretel, in operatic form, was first heard in Weimar, Germany, in December of 1893.  The opera tells the familiar tale of two mischievous children, their exasperated parents, and one hungry witch!

Figaro can do anything!  He's not only the best barber in Seville, but should you need a leg amputated or a heart mended, he's the man to call.  When the wealthy young Count Almaviva comes to town in search of a wife, Figaro knows just how to get the gift--but not without pandemonium breaking loose that disrupts the entire city!

Annie

Annie, the Broadway musical, is based upon the popular Harold Gray comic strip Little Orphan Annie.  The musical ran for nearly six years on Broadway and spawned numerous productions in many countries as well as national tours.  The musical's songs "Tomorrow" and "It's the Hard-Knock Life" are its more popular pieces.

In this hilarious comedy, two English Shakespearean actors, Jack and Leo, find themselves so down on their luck that they are performing "Scenes from Shakespeare" on the Moose Lodge circuit in the Amish country of Pennsylvania.  When they hear that an old lady in York, Pennsylvania, is about to die and leave her fortune to two long lost English nephews, they resolve to pass themselves off as the nephews and get the fortune.  The trouble is, when they get to York they discover the relatives are NOT nephews BUT nieces instead!!  Be sure to mark your calendars now and plan to attend.

The Quilters
W.C.T - Directed by Mike Kramme

Quilters is a musical about pioneer women, with a book by Molly Newman and Barbara Damashek, and lyrics and music by Barbara Damashek.  It is based on the book The Quilters:  Women and Domestic Arts by Patricia Cooper and Norma Bradley Allen.  Quilters follows the story of a pioneer woman (Sarah) and six women who are called her daughters.  Rather than a straightforward storyline, the musical is presented as a series of short tales and tableaux matched with musical numbers, each presenting an aspect of frontier life or womanhood.
