Getting Here
The Washington Community Center is one block west of the intersection of Highway 92 and Highway 1, on the west side of Washington. Park right at the building.

The Evening
A 480-seat house with a 36-foot proscenium, run by neighbors. It is a proper theater, and a friendly one.

Before you come
Reserve by phone at (319) 653-5175, buy online, or take your chances at the door — tickets are also sold on performance nights. The box office opens two weeks before opening night, Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 pm.

When you arrive
Park at the building and come in through the lobby. Pick up will-call tickets at the box office window. Give yourself a few minutes to find your seat before the house lights go down.

Bringing children
Children under two can sit on a parent's lap for free. Everyone older needs a ticket. Some productions carry a content advisory — it is always listed on the show page.

During the show
Please silence phones and anything else that lights up or makes noise. Photography and recording are not permitted — our productions are licensed, and the performers are your neighbors.
Make a Night of It
Washington has one of the prettiest town squares in Iowa, a few minutes from the theater. Come early, eat well, and stay the night if the drive is long.
